Cathie Fitzpatrick

Cathie is a seasoned family law paralegal with experience in both the Court of King’s Bench and Provincial Court family law systems.
She has expertly assisted clients with parenting, child support, spousal support, property division, relocation, income imputation, protection orders and many other family law issues. Her decades of experience in law also includes working in real estate, commercial transactions, corporate law, civil litigation, and collections.
In addition to her paralegal experience, Cathie has a background in legal education, having taught at Red Deer College in the Legal Assistant program for 15 years. As a college instructor, she developed strong communication and interpersonal skills which she uses to assist her clients. Her calm, friendly attitude makes her approachable as she helps to break down the complex family law system for her clients.
Cathie believes that all Canadians should be able to access justice which includes reducing financial and geographical barriers. She believes that technology is a powerful tool that should be utilized to improve access to justice.
Cathie enjoys spending time with her family, Beatles music and her mini-schnauzer, Ringo. She is also a swimmer, gardener, quilter and beach lover.
