FAQ

What services does Coach My Case offer?

Coach My Case is evolving.

From the beginning, our mission has been to make legal services more affordable and accessible for those who need them most. Along the way, we've listened carefully to our clients, learned from their experiences, and explored innovative ways to better support self-represented individuals.

As such, we are excited to take the next step in that journey and move Coach My Case toward a new, technology-enabled, self-serve platform designed to empower clients with greater independence, efficiency, and support. Stay tuned for more updates on our website or our social media channels!

Where will I be able to access legal coaching services?

Legal coaching and paralegal support are now available through our trusted partner, Crossroads Law.

You’ll be working with the same dedicated team of lawyers and paralegals, ready to support you as you navigate family court, mediation, or arbitration. Crossroads Law is proud to continue offering legal coaching services that empower self-represented clients to move forward with clarity and confidence.

Will those services be 100% remote and available in BC and Alberta?

Absolutely, our team of professionals are still available to help you, 100% remotely. However, we do have offices in Vancouver and Calgary.

I was a Coach My Case client. Can I move my file to Crossroads Law?

Absolutely. If you have an active file, you should have received a letter with the option to transition your matter to Crossroads Law or another firm of your choice. Former clients are also welcome to reconnect—just reach out to your previous lawyer or paralegal coach, and we’ll be happy to assist with the transfer process.

What’s the difference between working with a legal coach at Coach My Case and at Crossroads Law?

The experience remains largely the same. You’ll continue to receive personalized support from the same skilled legal coaches. The main difference is that Crossroads Law requires a modest retainer for coaching services. The specific amount will depend on the details of your case, and your legal coach will explain this during your free consultation.
